The government in the Neatherlands have recently banned Magic Mushrooms, including the famous Amanita Muscaria, which bears a striking resemblance to the super mushrooms of the Mario universe, after a 17 year old french girl jumped off a building after consuming one of these. And this isn’t the first time someone jumped off a building after eating one of these. Perhaps they thought they had an extra life?

… perhaps she did not have enough extra 1ups. Better go for the green mushrooms first the next time.
at least we now know whats the connection between eating mushrooms and wanting to jump platforms.
suddenly mario takes on a whole new light!
when some teenager or idiot does something stupid that harms themselves or someone else, then the media and naysayers then see the person standing next to a video game at some point in the past.
never fails
wut? then in this case we are the media because i made the connection D:
She probably didn’t take a run up before she jumped. Otherwise she would’ve flown. That’s providing she had gotten the feather or the leaf beforehand…
She could’ve jumped and, at the middle of her jump, hop out of her Yoshi. That definitely would’ve saved her.
Magic mushrooms have not been officially banned by the dutch government yet. They will decide on the matter in the third week of january (2008).
she shoud’ve taken the mushroom with eyes.
WOOOO thats crazy shit bad trip for her.
