Marching Band Performs Cowboy Bebop’s Tank!

Much more remarkable is it when it’s a whole marching band performing an anime theme!
Such is the case with Towson University’s TIGER Marching Band and their rendition of Cowboy Bebop’s Tank! a couple of weeks ago. You can almost imagine the geek fervor it must have taken to get the whole band to go along with it. It’s an arrangement for marching band so there are subtle differences with the original theme but this is something we definitely want to see more of!

I think the weather and the… outsideness makes the song sound a little muddy.
Being a trumpet player, I know it’s hard to screech out high notes, but in the rain? AND MARCHING? Props.

Man, I played trombone in my high school’s jazz band, and we almost played this song my senior year. It was too late in the school year to rehearse it so it could be good enough, so it was dropped T-T
I saw a high school before, that played Legend of Dragoon songs which made me tear up like this one T.T
