Know when to fold ‘em

Today marks the end of my one week vacation, 7 days of basking in the warm, nurturing light of my 21 inch monitor (Its been known to give a nice greenish tan on my otherwise pale skin). And so tomorrow I must wake up at 5 AM to attend school, taking into account that I’ve been staying up very late this week tomorrow morning will be a very exhilarating experience!

A large portion of the week was spent working on the site’s backend, hacking the RSS feed and getting technorati to index the site properly. I had to revisit that part of my brain which used to know how to program to modify the PHP code of Mambo. It was tricky but fun, hopefully this will help people find this site and thus gain insight on the purpose of life and why they have always needed us but been unaware of it.

Some months ago I saw that video of the Japanese t-shirt folding technique and was quite amazed by it, never tried to do it myself until today, after a couple of tries I showed my mom how to do it and she fell in love with the technique. We spent a good 15 minutes perfecting the movements.

If you want to see how its done and read a nice little article on what folding experts (including an MIT engineer) have to say about the technique check out this article.

That’s it for today; I have a couple of ideas cooking in the oven for this week so stay tuned!
