With only a few days until the launch of both the PS3 and the Wii in Japan, there must be someone out there already camping out. His tent probably stocked with junk foodstuffs and his hands holding on to a DS lite or a PSP. Well 1UP and Kotaku went out to find that out.
1UP found that Wii fanboys where at least camping out for the preorders. How many? Oh, 150 gaming souls. The line goes on forever.

But surely the PS3 fanboys wont be left behind! There’s a legacy they must honor. Lets see what Kotaku’s Brian Ashcraft (who apparently reads us, hi Brian!) found in Osaka.

Oh, no one? Hmm thats weird. One would think that with the 80,000 units destined for Japan people would be battling giant crabs to get their hands on one. Although Brian does add:
Granted, I wasn’t able to check the entire city, but haven’t heard of any line-forming in Osaka or Tokyo as of yet.
Not a fair representation or an omen of things to come?
