Wonderful news Xbox owners, if you’re among the lucky ones who have a Japanese Xbox Live account it seems like it might still be useful. Reports are showing that not only can you download the Eternal Sonata demo that’s on Japanese Xbox live, but that it has menus and dialogues in English. How about that? Could it be that Microsoft is starting to understand us? Lets hope so! In the meantime get downloading and be sure to tell us anything dirty you find on young master Chopin, like syphilis or something.

Damm! That sucks, I was really waiting for this…
how does it suck? the game and official demo will eventually get to this continent, plus you can play it now… if you have a japanese account.
It sucks in the way that this demo is actually all in English?! So why on earth was not made available here at the same time? In a case like this one giving preference to a region ticks me off. (if the demo was in japanese I would understand but… such is not the case)
I also feel like sometimes waiting for something for that long is really no good. By the time it comes out I’ve seen tons of other stuff that caught my attention already and might in fact pass on it.
Having played the demo for an hour or so, i’m in LOVE with this game. Yeah, for the most part it’s your typical tri-crecendo/ace/whatever game. But the next gen visuals, and overall designs are just top notch.
My favorite part though, has to be that your special skills CHANGE based on if you’re standing in the light, or the shadows. So it requires you to make quick adjustments, to go from a lame ‘take pictures’ attack, to an all out assault.
