IMAGI Releases Gatchaman Artwork

Some of the first ever concept drawings for the new Gatchaman Movie were released by IMAGI studio. They look quite faithful to the style of the show as far as ship and character design goes, although you really cant see much of the characters. It seems the scope of the movie is leaning toward the epic battle side of things, as most of the images depict ships fighting, car chases and things going boom all over the place.

It seems like IMAGI is gearing up to become quite the otaku crowd pleaser since, besides Gatchaman, they are also producing Astroboy and an anime movie based of the Highlander franchise. Oh yeah and lets not forget, they are the studio behind TMNT. For now enjoy the artworks and we’ll keep an eye on IMAGI in case they have any more surprises in store.

    very good images, it seems they really are being faithful to the style that was gatchaman, im really looking forward to seeing this movie, and hope they make the highlander one
