Giant Eva-01 Statue Brings Expensive Angel Protection

Well it seems evangelion news will be ever increasing from now until the movies are released, so lets get into gear, shall we? And what better way to get started than with a giant robot? Its already some sort of tradition here at Dark Diamond. ANN reports on this 2 meter tall (yes, metric) Eva-01 statue.

Custom made by Akiyama Studio for Gainax, now it resides Kotobikiya’s Radio Hall in Akihabara. Not only is it huge and shiny and the biggest piece of Eva merchandise ever, it also costs near $10,000 dollars! For that price I’m the one who’s going to go berserk!
