Remember our lost exclusive about the Oni Link collectible figurine? Well this time we’ve got the heads up from the horse’s mouth. The cool cats from First 4 Figures sent us some pics and the official press release for their upcoming Samus collectible statues. So far we’ve got news on the Varia (standard) and Gravity Suit versions. From the press release:

First 4 Figures has used the official game files in order to create an extremely accurate recreation of the Varia suit, with pose inspiration taken from official Metroid Prime Varia Suit artwork. The suit series will include, but not limited to, Samus Aran’s Light Suit, Dark Suit and Phazon suit.

If you look at the pictures below you’ll see there’s lots of attention to detail. The statues are made from poly-stone and hand finished/painted so you could probably bludgeon someone to death with these; although they’d look much better on display than covered in blood, lets leave that for a Bloodrayne series.

The Varia Suit edition runs 2,500 pieces while the Gravity Suit runs a super exclusive 250 piece edition. They both go for $99 USD so if you are series about your figurines go and spend your cash here. Now on to the pics:
