Faith, from The Girl Gamer, who also writes for Destructoid (lucky robot), tipped us to her latest article. Its titled Why you don’t wanna turn your girl into a gamer. What she claims:

Oh, I hear ya Faith! If you do find yourself a natural girl gamer then by all means, enjoy the real gem you’ve found! But if not, don’t try and force it into her (actually, never try to force any ‘it’ into her, unless she’s cool with that). You’ll only end up in a nasty breakup or even worse, you’ll create a monster! Faith says:

The first thing that will change will be her looks. That perfect hair, the makeup covered face and amazing fashion sense will be no more, and instead you will have a pony tailed, no makeup wearing girlfriend, walking around the house in your old band shirt and sweatpants.

Actually. minus the sweatpants that doesn’t sound bad at all… hmm… Erhm yeah where was I? Oh yes, and don’t think the looks will be the only thing left unattended!

Next will be the sex life. Have you ever passed up sex to keep playing your game? Well, now so will she, and trust me women crave sex a lot less than guys do, so don’t expect to be getting a lot of it as long as there is a new game in the house.

Ok that one isn’t exclusive to converted girl gamers, or maybe I just got the short end of the stick (is that a pun?).
