Episode 2 jumpstarts the plot to ergo proxy, a breath of fresh air in an time where some series get to the point 13 episodes into the story. After the assault on Lil’s house (fansubs still wont agree on what to call her) she is brought in to identify suspects, but apparently all data, video or otherwise of the event was erased from cameras and autoraves. Lil claims there is a conspiracy from the security bureau.

The bureau is blaming Vincent law, the russian immigrant we saw last episode, as the prime suspect on the assault. We learn that Lil’s granparent is the regent of Romdeau and that Lil must be checked by a doctor before returning to work. She’s appointed to see ‘the prince’ who is a young boy and the head of the health bureau who apparently has a crush on Lil. In the doc’s office Lil finds out she is being diagnosed as apathological liar because of the incident.

Iggy’s memory has been altered aswell and he is apparently being monitored by Lil’s grandfather. In the office of the misterious government agent he studies the video fotage of the assault and finds out there where two proxies who attacked the appartment and apparently one of them is bent on finding Lil.

Later at a mall we see our misterious bureaucrat with his autorave going about their business when in comes Vincent Law running from none other than the long haired proxy. In the chase many civilians suffer casualties, the mall is closed down but the proxy escapes chasing Vincent. At the very last scene we see Lil discovers a pendant in her appartments which leads to a finnale you just have to see to believe, a secret our dear Vincent had kept well hidden!
