And from what Super Hero Flix reports, Emile Hirsch will be cast as Speed, the protaganist! However, I’ve seen the Girl Next Door… and everytime I see Hirsch, I will always be reminded of the scene where he got on ecstasy… Nonetheless, his performance should be good. He sounds enthusiastic. I just hope the kid does a good job talking on such a legacy.

It’s just a new vision… it’s futuristic Blade Runner meets Andy Warhol.
That’s all I got out of the spazz, but Blade Runner and Andy Warhol? They both sound like a dangerous mix; aesthetic as well.
For those of you old enough or hip enough to understand the great impact of Speed Racer, or Mach Go Go Go to those of you hardcore otakus, yes, apparently there’s been a live American adaptation in the works. Now, get this: the Wachowski Brothers are going to direct and write the movie script. This comes as to know surprsie for me - they’re obviously otaku’s themselves. After all, just look at the Animatrix. I’m a huge fan of the Wachowski Brothers, despite the fact that the Matrix trilogy could’ve ended on a stronger note, so I know I’ll be watching this come May 9, 2006.
