Imagine you and your friends are just sitting around your living room with nothing to do. Suddenly, the Duff Man shows up with a keg and a dozen fine looking women. What do you do? You jam the emergency party button, that’s what! The lights dim, fog machines warm up, lasers and strobe lights fire, and the music starts. Perfect! Sounds like a dream, right? Well, dream no more for it is reality. Watch the madness in action, and if you have a spare $650, follow the link for the original plans on how it was made.

Needs more party lighting and a projector with some wicked R4 visuals.

Although if it were MY kinda party it would all go dark, projector coming on screen and consoles would popup along with guitar hero, rock band and DDR controllers. But perhaps thats why people dont come to MY parties. :(

Given what this site usually has, I read it at first as “Emergency Panty Button”.

      I was disappointed.

Plasma2002: It was a word of mouth link to Engadget, I believe.

WTF? Then again, it’s possible to make a single button that triggers many things. I’m assuming this thing works like the harmony remotes (where-as, everything is hooked into something that works with it)

I would probably press it every night.
