EA Takes A Jab At Activision With Duty Calls
Wednesday 2 February 2011 @ 10:13 pm | By Ivan 'Nahu' Lozano 5 CommentsIsn’t it great when huge corporations act like small children and start picking on eachother? Much like when the MINI cars president challenged the guys at Lamborghini to a race now EA is picking on Activision’s Call of Duty series with a little parody game called Duty Calls: The Call Before The Storm. You can download the full 700MB game for free at Duty Calls’ official website or you can just watch the video above as that is all there is.
In all honesty, though, this game describes all modern ‘mature’ FPS games to a scary level of detail. The joke’s on everyone, I guess.

sad but true, pretty much the reason i never got into FPS’s in the first place… even tho i still play some of them.
i have to show this to a buddy who is tho xD
reminded me of the time when games could get away with a lot of crude humor, 4th wall-breaking, and made fun of themselves. . .for fun!
First one that comes to mind is Earthworm Jim 2 for Snes. I really miss the 90′s.
ah the 90′s… a sentiment I’ve been sharing as of late that has sent me in a retro gaming spree…
that was truly a golden age for gaming
It’s off putting that even something as short as this parody still needs 700 MB of data to run as is.
actually site says you need at least 8gb of space to install… so i wonder how short it really is…
and apparently its a marketing campaign for Bullet storm
also .. EA is only the publisher.. this demo and Bulletstorm was developed by epic games (gears of war)
