EA starts to catch up in music games.

I was beginning to wonder why EA didn’t get into the music / rhythm game genre in the past generation, the rising popularity of DDR, PIU, and Karaoke Revolution among others, being a powerful reason to try. Instead of that, it seems that they decided to do so now taking advantage of the Wii motion sensing capabilities. No better time than now!
Boogie is the name of the game, and you will be able to create a character and make it dance and sing in different ways by moving and shaking the Wiimote. Alain Tascan, general manager at developer EA Montreal, states it clearly:

“We’re creating something new and different for gamers of all ages to enjoy; the complete party package where gamers can dance as well as sing,”

The character seem likable, and I guess the dancing moves will be awesome. I really hope this game meets my expectations.
