EA Hands Out a Halloween Treat With Mirror’s Edge Demo

Well, this is the second instance where I find myself extremely jealous of you PLAYSTATION®3 owners out there (the first being Little Big Planet). In a quasi-Halloween surprise EA announced that a “special” Mirror’s Edge demo will be jumping onto the PlayStation® Store October 30th (that’s today kiddies), and landing on the Xbox LIVE™ Marketplace on October 31st.
According to the announcement, the demo will feature the game’s prologue, a tutorial and a segment of the single-player story mode. In addition, those who pre-order* Mirror’s Edge will gain exclusive access to the games highly addictive Time Trial Mode. In Time Trial Mode players must use skill and speed as they race through segments of the city in order to achieve the fastest times which can then be uploaded to an online leaderboard.

Look for Mirror’s Edge to leap into stores on November 11th.

YAY! But I don’t have a PS3 yet…..when I get mine I challenge all DDN readers to take me on in the Time Trials….fyi I will beat you.

This game surprised me even more then i thought. I expected it to be new and unique, but it’s REALLY REALLY fresh.
Can’t wait for the full game to come out. Too bad i’ve gotta wait for the delayed pc version ;_;
