Dragonball trailer released, as sucky as everybody expected.

Somehow, two weeks earlier than expected, the trailer for Dragonball’s been released online, and to nobody’s surprise it looks awful. I still don’t totally get why Mai’s there, but not Pilaf, and everyone who predicted that they’d Hollywood Romance up Goku and Bulma, give yourself a round of applause. See for yourself.

Uh, thats Goku and Chi-Chi kissing at the end of the trailer.
But yeah, this looks.. mediocre, by trailer standards. We barely see any combat and what we see is pretty standard wire-fu, we don’t get to see any other cool special effects really.
Puke.
It’s all about the Piccolo. If it were the traditional purple robed, white-caped one, this movie would’ve been a great hit.
Well I better get into the Dragon Ball cartoon with the quickness so I can officially say that the live-action film sucks compared to the show.
Then again the first thing that popped into my mind while watching the Dragon Ball live-action trailer was…Double Dragon, is that you?

Hmm… Watching the trailer, I am less interested than I originally was. I still want to watch this movie purely for the sake of Hollywood’s versions of the beam attacks as well as super saiyajin forms. The trailer showed none of that. Just some (normal) explosions, and some lame fight scenes. Bulma looks like Sonya Blade from the MK movies.
I would have been stoked if they had Goku at the very end of the trailer charging up with his hands behind him shouting, “Kame…. Hame…!”
Well, damn. Fox pulled the trailer, what a bunch of assholes.

it’ll make its way up when fox ‘feels’ like it. meaning after they trash it, and start over from scratch. then again… there is NO WAY they can do anything good with this film.
thts wat im luvin no cgi special effects just good old fashionm fight scenes,like crouching tiger,this movie looks great cnt wait to see it
Are they trying to get people to boycott? …wait, people in Japan and many other Asian countries are already doing so.
