A new member joins the cast of the Dragon Ball live action movie. Jamie Chung has been cast to play Chi Chi (Known as Milk in Latin America), Goku’s girlfriend and later wife. Miss Chung brings a ray of world class acting to the cast as her career has been filled with challenging roles in very highbrow shows such as The Real World: San Diego, which saw her debut to the acting world and that one episode of Days of our Lives where she once had a minor role. More recently you may have seen her in the masterful movie I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry playing the very demanding role of “Hooters Girl“.
There is no doubt this spells quality acting for the Dragon Ball movie and it is no surprise this project has been compared to the Hindenburg zeppelin and the Titanic, both shining achievements of human kind.

Im really shocked that they would ruin a perfectly good anime show by having Justin Chatwin play the part of Goku, ive been waiting for years for them to make a Dragonball movie and its going to be a poor film if they continue with Chatwin, nobody wants him to play Goku cause he looks nothing like Goku, and i dont know if anyone else agrees with me here, but his eyes are too weird, theyre slanted. Anyway i hope they sort this out soon cause its going to be a waste of money in the end. Oh, and while im writing this check out my picture on here http://www.myspace.com/eenkhoorn20 if you think i look like Goku then they should have me play the part lol (well i was told i look like him by many people :S) and on a plus side im already a black belt martial artist and can do a good impression of Gokus angry eyes lol

I’ve been waiting and everyone who knows about DBZ have been waiting for this movie to come out. All I can say is that if they screw this up like they did with Street Fighter and the sequel to mortal combat then they might as well give up on making movies. And why don’t they go to the fans for advice we all know they don’t even when they say they do.

One more thing, fighting is key to this movie why because of the cast they need to make the fighting be on point along with the super sayian hair and of course the KAH MEH HA MEH HA!!!!! Don’t y’all agree?

I hated Dragonball Evolution movie (so much so I walked out of the theater). First of all, it was way under budgeted, (it was originally supposed to be around 100 million dollars) and the story was so predictable and boring (mostly because of the weak script writing). The DB movie didn’t remind me of the dbz cartoons at all, there was a missed cast (Justin Chatwin as Goku, hmmm….?). The trailer looked entertaining though corny. The actual movie was even worse. I’ve seen better adaptions of video games/comic books/tv cartoons turned into films like Resident Evil, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990 version) and Blade. The DB Evolution movie is so static and weak that it reminds me of the lame Batman and Robin (with George Clooney) movie which killed the Batman franchise in the late 90’s. I’ve heard there’s going to be a sequel, but I can’t imagine how they’re going to make much of a profit when the first one barely (if at all) made any lol.
