Ever heard a song and said “that would be a kick ass DDR song!”, statement followed by you vowing to convert the song for Stepmania? Then you either forgot about it or gave up. I’ve been there, many many many times. Well thank the internets, Karl O’Keeffe and David Flink for putting an end to your dancing woes.

The duo created a program, called Dancing Monkeys, that claims to automatically generate step files for any given MP3 or WAV provided. I’m a bit skeptical this will work with my tastes in music, 300Bpm isnt your average techno tune. I might try it out and let you know how it goes. Feel free to share your experience as well!
