Cube melon season in japan

square_melons03.jpgThe national tradition and international cliche of Japanese cubed melons comes alive once again as the yearly shipment starts in Zentzuji, Kagawa Prefecture. These fridge-friendly melons, along with all fruit in japan, are quite expensive, going for about $80 bucks a piece. But that isn’t stopping fruit and novelty lovers from buying them this season!
