Of all of the different classes of freak peculiar minds Japan manages to spawn CLAMP occupies a special place in the mentally deviated zone. Just look at them all smiling like some promo shot for desperate housewives.They’ve brought us great titles like X, Sakura Card Captor, Chobits, Magic Knight Rayeheart, all with their characteristic amount of sexual blur.

Now Anime News Network has posted a video interview that Japan’s Top Runner show did to CLAMP. Although its in Japanese the video is very insightful and might provide some much needed answers to the group’s success.

Apparently the secret to their very own flavor of freakness comes from huge amounts of alcohol!

Now bear in mind my japanese is a little limited (Kimochi~!, Suki, and Kita! being most of my vocabulary) but I think the message is clear, this women must get pretty wasted to come up with that stuff. And if thats not it, may the heavens have mercy on their wicked souls!
