Cencoroll Still Alive, Coming 2009!

Less than a month after we considered declaring Cencoroll anime vaporware news comes that Aniplex, Sony’s anime production company, has picked up Cencoroll for release in 2009. Along with this comes the official and upgraded site for the project at Cencoroll.com and the revelation (at least for us) that Cencoroll was animated by a one man team composed of creator Atsuya Uki. Now whatever this indie project turns out to be it will at least deserve a lot of respect for being a nearly one man operation. Something other solo projects cant seem to command.

    This anime really reminds me of Toki o Kakeru Shōjo. Well, the animation does at least. The whole monsters reminds me of X’amd.

    I’m going to watch this day one! Glad to hear it’s still alive and kickin.

    This looks like a blend of sooooo many of the animes that I love. Stylistically this is incredible. *fingers crossed* sooner rather than later…
