So, Castle Crashers, the new game from Alien Hominid creators Behemoth, goes live today for 1200 Microsoft points. Touting over 20 levels and bosses, HD gameplay, 4 players over Xbox Live, XBL Multiplayer arenas, "Animal Orb" companions, and over 20 characters, this game looks well worth the $15 it costs. Videos and more after the break.

Above is a little video of some of the gameplay, made mainly to showcase the Weapon’s Frog, where you change weapons, and the Animal Orb Ark, where you change animal orbs. As you can see, the graphics are absolutely beautiful. They keep the whimsical feel of Alien Hominid, but are even better, more clean, and crisper in HD. I can’t personally wait to play this; seeing as how I was a huge fan of Hominid. The game should be live some time today.
