Ever looked at a girl on the street and thought she’d be a lot more attractive if her iris were two to three times bigger? Well, longingly gaze no more, as companies in Japan are manufacturing extra wide, vividly tinted contact lenses aimed at the otaku demographic.

The results, though, are less than desirable. Imagine the startle you might get if you look into somebody’s eyes and they’re dilated. Take that shock and multiply it by twenty or so and you’re starting to get just how creepy this would be. Are extra-wide eyes something that should best be left in the 2D? I certainly think so.

      You can already get your pupils dilated like this with Xtasy and it’s a good deal more fun. However, I secretly want these.
