Breaking Wind, Breaking Bones; Air Assault: Shymalan’s The Last Airbender Teaser

Planned to be told as a trilogy (depending on the success of part I), the story will follow season one of the television series with protagonist Aang learning his destiny and battling the Fire Nation in the attempt to return cosmic balance.
You can be sure to expect some adaptations to fit on the silver screen, however solely based off teaser, I’d like to think this will be genuinely serious rather than the campy nature of the ill fated Dragon Ball Z.

Not a fan of Avatar but I have to admit, this looks pretty damn good!
Since when is Avatar considered anime? Well, we will discuss that in some other subject and or place, but anyway, the benefit of doubt for it!
It’s not anime but its so anime-influenced and hyped that well… here it is.
yah.. creators actually forced the creative team to watch anime xD
despite the humorous extra fluff the story is actually pretty good.
the influence is there… and thank the gods it is or i don’t know what would have happened to the series.
Avatar has always been one of those shows i WANT to watch, just never got around to.
I’ve gotta admit, that trailer was pretty darn sweet. Nice effects, style, etc.
I read up on a tiny bit of this movie a while ago and didn’t actually think they’d make it. I wasn’t a huge huge fan of the series… but screw it, I’m more than likely going to watch this.

Wow… I’ve got to say I’m impressed… But as a semi-fan of Avatar I HOPE they do it justice… I honestly don’t have my hopes up.
