The World Cosplay Summit took place this weekend in Nagoya, Japan. As every year, the best of the best in cosplay teams gather to compete for the world championship of cosplay. This year the Brazilian team won with a really striking Burst Angel performance. This isn’t Brazil’s first win and its likely going to become a trend.
This year its the first time the whole event was posted in streaming video on the official site. Sadly its pretty well guarded behind interweb locks so you will have to click and go there to watch it. A lot awesome pictures there as well as all the teams go on a parade with alternate costumes on the streets of Japan.

All the costumes were really good. Burst definitely had the most true design. Although I was hoping that in her performance she was going to do some acrobatics.
One of these days I’m gonna go and have a bad ass costume.
You can see pictures of the brazilian preliminaries, where they classified for the finals here: http://www.cosplayers.net
nice!
I agree with Sol. Although the designs are wicked with the winners, i wasn’t a huge fan of their ‘acting’
