Famous videogame magazine Famitsu just gave the Wii’s long waited killer app. Smash Bros. Brawl. . .(insert drumroll here. . . .stop.) a perfect score, 40 out of 40 points. I know that myself along a lot of you fellow DDN readers, are waiting for this tremendous game of gargantuan proportions and impact to hit U.S. shelves. Oh I’m imagining it right now, the CHAOS it’s going to be in all the American continent.

On an interesting note, Brawl is the seventh game to receive a 40/40 from Famitsu. Ocarina of time was the pionner (in 1998), then the original Soul Calibur, along came Vagrant story, Wind Waker, Nintendogs and FFXII.

From all this, I can assume 2 things:

1. Nintendo-brand delays are “good” for us.

2. We’ll always be nintendo’s pet slave.

Fine by me, gives my a little more time to make some more money to buy mo’ games.

I’m with Nahu. I’m not disputing ‘Super Smash Bros. Brawl’ isn’t a perfect game. But when yous ee what other games Famitsu gave perfect scores to, you have to scratch ya head for a second. I mean c’mon. ‘The wind waker’ and ‘Final Fantasy XII’ getting perfect scores!? What the f**k!! No way in hell was ‘The wind waker’ as good as ‘Ocarina of time’ and ‘Final Fantasy XII’ was garbage.
