It is a live-action version of the anime, that's from my understanding from the brief description on the plot outline. According to a website, Blood is suppose come out Spring of 2008, locations are in Hong Kong and another place in Southern Europe, but he is making another film which is suppose to come out in 2008 which he is filming right now. I am hoping that will not be the case. But it is turning out live-action adaption of the anime. Yes, I have read both novels, Night of the Beasts and Blood the graphic novel. I would enjoy reading the other novel of his, Seduction of Blood.
