Hoping to catch Blood: The Last Vampire in all its live action goodness this summer? We’ll you may just be out of luck. Samuel Goldwyn Films is only doing a very limited theatrical release of the film in the US. When it debuts on July 10 of this year the movie will only be showing in 9 theaters in the US Check the list to see if you’re in luck.
- Berkeley – Landmark Shattuck Cinemas
- Los Angeles – Mann Chinese 6
- San Diego – Landmark Hillcrest Cinema
- San Francisco – Landmark Lumiere Theatre
- Chicago – Landmark Century Centre Cinema
- Cambridge – Landmark Kendall Square Cinema
- Dallas – Landmark Magnolia 5
- Seattle – Landmark Varsity
- Washington DC – Landmark E Street Cinema
If the film performs well during this limited release its surely bound to get a bigger release but given the niche nature of Japanese schoolgirl vampire hunters we might just be out of luck. In the meantime we’ll keep you updated in case you should turn all your hopes of watching the movie to your local friendly torrent tracker.

It’s a shame about the limited theater release, but I’ve always had a direct-to-video feeling about this movie. San Francisco, huh? Maybe I’ll catch a matinee.
I’m down. The SF theater is closest to me too.
So my theater will show Death Note: The Movie 1&2 but not this. How saddening =/
