blood: the last vampire live action gets a new trailer
Wednesday 13 May 2009 @ 10:32 pm | By Ivan 'Nahu' Lozano 11 CommentsYet another trailer for the live action movie adaptation of Blood: The Last Vampire and the movie just keeps looking better each time. This trailer delves a bit more into the plot of the movie and while there are significant differences with the manga, the OVA and the anime series, there’s also quite a bit of reference to these original works. In fact there’s quite a few shots taken directly from the OVA.
The general public will most likely find it cheesy and juvenile but it also might just be the most faithful Hollywood anime adaptation in quite a while.

I hope they don’t mess this up. As of now it looks pretty good.
Time will tell, but I’m pretty excited about it. So far it’s a nice blend of elements from what we’ve seen from the trailers.
i don’t fear that much ’cause its not really being made by Hollywood… but a french company i think…
and I’ve seen some nifty stuff from the land of the Baguette… i have not high hopes.. but at least hopes in the tallest shelf of the book case at least. =)
way to be redundant xD
*points at self*
You deserve an award from the Department of Redudancy Dept.
That i do friend, that i do xD
i cant get into it i saw blood + and i think the should have stuck more closely to that story the arts not bad but this new saya is a letdown for me
blood+ is also a spinoff though, give the manga a try, its very short but at least you’ll get a better idea of the original story.
k thx il give it a try
I don’t like this much and asian mixed with americans. U-U
Would you rather keep them separate? In their own “vital space” so to speak? Because I know of a certain 1930’s statesman who’d agree with you!
