There are times when you just need a drink. The frustration rises after hours of grindage and the sweet taste of cola just doesn’t hit the spot. You want something stronger, maybe a Lavos, Magus, or R-66Y…are these the drinks you seek or distant memories calling forth the silent hero within you?

Students of the IT University of Copenhagen have once again introduced us to some videogame themed fare. This menagerie of drinks pools together Denmark’s expertise in alcohol with their love of games into 12 unique elixirs.

As a friendly gesture to all our readers I’ve gone ahead and converted the bar measurements to ounces. After tossing a few of these back I wouldn’t want to force you to convert centiliters in your inebriated head. I expect you all to make some of these at your next party. Send us some pics.

Original: (Note: “cl” stands for centiliter. Two cl approximately equals one “shot”)

I am assuming 1 shot = 1.5 oz. So 2 cl = 1.5 oz, 1 cl = 3/4 oz (.75 if fractions are too hard)

Glass:
Chilled Martini Glass

Garnish:
2 Lime Wedges

Shaken

1.5 oz Bols Lychee
3/4 oz Bols Peach
3/4 oz Xante Pear Cognac
1.5 oz Gin
2.5 oz Vodka
A pinch of Wasabi

Directions:
Shake all ingredients with ice and fine strain into Cocktail glass.

Highball Glass

Garnish:
Lemon Wedge

Shaken

1.5 oz Sake
1.5 oz Soutern Comfort
1.5 oz Xante
3 oz Vodka
3/4 oz Lime Juice

Directions:
Shake all ingredients with ice and pour into Highball Glass.

Glass:
Highball Glass

Garnish:
2 lime wedges in drink

Shaken

Slightly less than 1/4 oz Monin Green Banana
Slightly less than 1/4 oz Monin Grenadine
1.5 oz Apple Juice
1.5 Cranberry Juice
Top up with Sprite

Directions:
Shake first four ingredients with ice and pour into ice-filled Highball Glass. Top up with Sprite.

Rocks Glass

Garnish:
Lime wedge on rim

1.5 oz Sourz Raspberry
1.5 oz Sourz Apple
3/4 oz Bols Lychee
top up with Ginger Ale

Directions:
Shake the first three ingredients with ice and pour into ice-filled Rocks Glass. Top up with Ginger Ale.

3/4 oz Monin WaterMelon
1.5 oz Silver Tequilan

Directions:
Shake all ingredients and pour into a ice filled Rocks Glass.

3 oz Orange Juice
