A ghost of an old and almost forgotten franchise appears on your screen, who you gonna call? Ghostbusters! All day today the Internet has been ablaze with comments and chatter about a group of videos that show what appears to be a highly developed Ghostbusters game concept.

So far all that appears to be confirmed is that these videos came out of ZootFly, developers of Panzer Elite Action, Hollow and MobiRacers. No word yet on whether this is an official project or just someone’s project. Check out the vids, I haven’t been this excited about the Ghostbusters since I was 7.

Perhaps the only way to successfully bring a movie franchise to video games is to bring a dying franchise. Here’s hoping this is real, we’ll let you know.
