Another Final Fantasy VII: Crisis core trailer
Tuesday 11 September 2007 @ 8:17 am | By Random J 4 CommentsThe Final Fantasy VII rape continues. After a long hiatus of near enough no news on this game, I was under the impression that perhaps Square Enix saw sense and canceled it. But alas…it’s still on track to release for the PSP. The new trailer looks awesome - but the pain I feel for one of my favourite RPG’s being butchered by a senseless prequel overshadows all traces of awesomeness. *sigh*
I thought Final Fantasy VII’s plot was sufficient enough. Square obviously don’t seem to think so. Either that or they just have no love for the story and are willing to butcher the hell out of it just to make some extra money. I think it’s the latter. Final Fantasy VII: Crisis core releases in Japan on September 13.

I can’t believe they’re still making more FF VII-related stuff. And this is how you ruin a great story. Please, just stay focused on FF XIII…
Squeenix makes money, not art. Its beautiful and fun, but its formulaic and a product.
Word from a non-fan of FFVII or anything FF related: i don’t give a water containment-energy producing facility about it.
Make all the money you want, im protected from that:
*i’m not interested in the game
*i don’t own home videogame consoles
*can not afford to buy it
So, if it fails or succeeds its OUT OF MY jurismydicktion :p
Holla back, Square-Enix xD
Having played the first 10 minutes or so, i’ve gotta admit this game is pretty damn good. GORGEOUS cutscenes, great in-game graphics, and a bizarre ‘timed/free roaming’ battle system.
I’m not playing anymore until it comes out in english though.
