8-Bit Trip: Like An Acid Flashback Through The 80’s With Lego
Sunday 23 August 2009 @ 11:24 pm | By Ivan 'Nahu' Lozano 7 Comments8-Bit Trip is a music stop-motion video of all the glory of the 8-bit era made almost completely out of Lego sculptures. It’s mind-bending in its animation, tremendously witty in its detail and just plain lovely. The work of only 3 people and 1500 hours of labor. Fifteen-hundred hours is way too much time even by geek standards. File this under ‘beyond the call of geek duty’. Simply awesome.

Oh god. That Pong sequence was bananas!
True masters of their craft, the amount of thought into some of those scenes is mind-bending!
Mastery?
WITCHCRAFT, I SAY!
Also, DAT PONG SEQUENCE…
Holy crap… So insane.
damn… o___o
this is pure genius at work… i actually recognized the horrible jumble of pixels at 1:36 as a NES before it was referenced more clearly a minute later… xD
i think i have geek issues xD
to this talented guys i take of my hat… great job @.@
If i would had to take off my hat, that would mean removing my skull cap, but for these guys, this is a must-do for this piece of work! Covering a man in LEGO must be insanely arduous as well!
That Pong. . .
