I have to admit to not having thought much of the 360 to begin with. But having watched it materialize into this pretty decent console with a tight library of games, solid online and Japan slowly warming to it – I had to hop on board. So a few days ago, I went and treated myself to a brand spaking new Xbox 360 Elite. Most of my mates owning a 360, Street Fighter IV and vowing to buy Resident evil 5 day of release were also defining factors which shoved me into taking the dive.
If any of you own an Xbox 360 and have a shiny gold Live account, be sure to share your gamertags. I’m not fussy. I’ll accept Friend requests from any one. The more the merrier!!
Post your gamertag or your gamer profile link in the comments section of this post. If we get enough gamertags and activity going on, then the next step – gaming parties. Who doesn’t love a good ol’ party!

A Dark Diamond Exclusive

Earlier this year developer SpiderMonk Entertainment unleashed onto the gaming world Roogoo. A cute n’ cuddly story-driven puzzle game in which Roogoo, is tasked with saving his home world from the power-hungry clutches of King Moo, his son Prince Moo and their motley crew of followers, the MeeMoo. In order to do so Roogoo must travel across 6 different environments and 45 stages to collect and sort the falling meteors that once brought life, energy and joy to the peaceful world of Roo.
Taking a short Roo-nap from his adventures on both Xbox LIVE Arcade and PC, Roogoo is gearing up for two all-new adventures on the Nintendo Wii and DS.
I caught up with with President/Creative Director, Scott March of SpiderMonk Entertainment to ask him about the wonderful world of Roogoo and what we can expect too see from the upcoming Wii and DS versions of the game.

Penny Arcade’s creators, Tycho and Gabe, claim that nowadays they see PA as more of a franchise than a webcomic. Never has this been more apparent than in Hothead Games’ Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness, a godsend to children of the ’90s that spent their days with point-and-click adventures and turn-based console RPGs. While it’s short, and the bosses are somewhat cheap, $20 is a perfectly fair asking price for PA’s first video game.

Rare keeps pushing Kameo like crack, a fifth downloadable pack will be available soon for download.
This Kameo Power Pack opens up three new co-op modes, Expert Mode, Time Attack Mode and Rune Battle Mode, which allegedly bring up the difficulty levels. From the site:
- Expert Mode: Expert Mode features six re-mastered tougher-than-ever levels, for both solo and cooperative play. Be prepared to face battles that will make even the most hardcore Kameo veterans balk. Suited up in their exclusive new Armor Skins, all ten of your Elemental Warriors will be on hand to help you in the enhanced combat…and you’re gonna need ‘em!
- Time Attack Mode: In Time Attack Mode, team up with a friend over split-screen, System Link, or Xbox Live®, and work together to try and beat the clock-and the Trolls-against seemingly impossible odds.
- Rune Battle Mode: Rune Battle Mode turns traditional Kameo co-op on its head, with new VS gameplay that pits you against your opponent-as well as Trolls-in a fight to grab the most runes. Use one of the unique new weapons to thwart your adversary in this no-holds-barred arcade scramble!
The Kameo power pack also includes 15 new achievements and a worldwide leaderboard. There’s been no price announcement so far but previous Kameo packs where about $2.50 a piece.
