I heard that this game had been in development for quite some time now, but finally we have our first official trailer for Hello Kitty Online, and boy is it a doozy. Enjoy getting screeched at by some of the most sacchirine, high-pitched voices imaginable as various Sanrio characters reveal all the great features of this upcoming game! It’s “the cutest game world ever!”
Admittedly though, it looks to offer a lot: battle, customizable houses, farming, cutesy miniature versions of famous international cities like Beijing and Moscow, and in-game blogs and video for community networking (note the stereotypical scene girls shown toward the end). I doubt this will go down in history as a masterpiece, but rest assured I have my eye on it.

The latest trailer from the highly-anticipated Tri-Ace RPG beings with what looks like a backstory of the mythos of Infinite Undiscovery’s world, and then gets to the business of introducing a rather impressive number of characters, all of whom look like they’ll be party members. Finally after a bit more of this, we get to see some delicious gameplay footage.
Right away the architecture of towns and dungeons reminded me of Final Fantasy XII, as did the seemless battle/exploration, which of course takes inspiration from MMORPGs. This battle system is all about combos and coordinating your attacks together as a team. In a few scenes you can see the party members surrounding enemies and attacking different foes simultaneously.
Hopefully someone with an XBox 360 can review this game for us when it comes out on September 2nd worldwide.

The trailer for the english dub of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. I’m kind of surprised they kept the original pronunciation of Simon’s name, and Kamina’ voice feels kind of eh, but not bad!
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann will air in America on the Sci-Fi channel on Monday, July 28, at 11:00 AM.

It seems the intent of this trailer is to remind us that this is a Sonic Team game. There’s no new gameplay footage, but it seems to be setting a tone much different from previous trailers.
Sonic Unleashed will be released for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, and Wii in November.

Yesterday, Entertainment Weekly featured a new trailer for Lucasarts’ upcoming epic Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. In the trailer, the apprentice (That’s you) is shown doing all kinds of badass stuff, including wielding his lightsaber backhanded, tossing it through a tree and taking out some Wookies, using a giant metal post to whail on a walker, and even using his immense Force powers to crumple said walker up like it’s a piece of paper.
The trailer also shows some story elements including a love interest for the apprentice, the appearance an Obi-Wan-esque character who tries to turn him back to the light side of the Force, and what seems to be a climactic fight between the apprentice and Vader himself.
No release date is out just yet for this awesome-looking game, but hopefully when it hits shelves it will live up to how purely awesome this trailer is.

This just released new trailer for Street Fighter 4 is pretty amazing. Starting with an ode to the great 2D classics and then showing us some gameplay clips, it frankly makes me feel like searching for the nearest arcade in the middle of the night.
Also I simply love the song! Its so damn heroic, like out of a Rocky soundtrack. I must have it, anyone know the name?

Finally, the trailer for the much anticipated Ghost in the Shell: Solid State Society has been released. And its quite a long trailer, spanning nearly 3 minutes. The artwork looks stunning as always and the CG graphics are blended much better than before. No Tashikomas, sadly. The music follows in the footsteps of S.A.C., which is great since I loved that OST. And guess what, there’s even a scene where Motoko jumps off a building, original content!
