Well, i thought we had heard the last of this, but it seems the Tokyo Game Show has brought this rumor to surface again. Yoshitaka Arai, the public relations head for Konami was heard telling the Japanese investor bulletin "Morningstar" the following:
"The worldwide demand for an Xbox 360 version (of MGS4) is quite high, and it is something we are currently looking in to."
Sounds like things are still hopeful for us Xbox fans out there, and I’m sure any fan of the series would love to see more people get the opportunity to play it. Will it ever come to fruition? Only time will tell, but keep your eyes pealed!

A source has alerted me to something quite interesting on Blizzard’s Battle.net forums. If you follow this link:
http://www.battle.net/forums/board.aspx?ForumName=d3-general
You are brought to a "The battle.net Forums Are Currently Down" error message. This differs from entering a nonsense forum name, which redirects the user to the Battle.net main page. Could this be related to the mysterious splash page on Blizzard.com?

One of my sources informed me that while at Fanimecon on Sunday, the president of GAINAX, Hiroyuki Yamaga, let slip details on a possible next season of 2007’s rating-piercing hit, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. After discussing the upcoming Gurren Lagann movies for a bit, he supposedly asked the panel attendees, "Do you also want a new story?", and after overwhelming cries of "YES!" "YEAH!" and "WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK WE ARE!?", he simply replied: "I want to say something, but I can’t."
GAINAX had previously announced the production of a Gurren Lagann movie for release this fall with a possibility of a second in the spring. Yamaga-san has had a history of attending Fanimecon for several years, and this year gave up his usual "Guest of Honor" status, instead bringing over several other members of GAINAX for a Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann panel.

The rumor mill keeps on going and the latest thing to come out of it is a supposed new version of the Nintendo DS with bigger screens. This apparently comes from several Japanese blogs and forums that claim a new iteration of the DS, supposedly set for release in 2007, would sport 3.5 and 3.8 inch screens. Quite an increase from the current 3 inch screens of the DS Lite.
Frankly, I dont buy it and here is why. Nintendo does have a history of releasing rehashed portable devices with marginal improvements but never in such small periods. If there is going to be a redesigned DS late 2008 would seem reasonable. Second, the different screen sizes, more than a couple of games display images that span both screens, with one screen bigger than the other said games would look awkward.
So dont hold your breath for a new DS, whenever Nintendo releases a new portable it will be just that, a new member of the Nintendo family.

Gameworld network has recently come up with an article they title “The Ultimate Wii Rumor Compilation”, thats a bold statement. The list is hardly ‘Ultimate’, a much more fitting title would be ‘The Super Condensed Wii Rumor Compilation’.
For those of us who spent the last 2 years in forums eating up every little piece of information, no matter how unbelievable it was, this list is pitiful. Let me give you an example. The list names a rumor as:
“The Revolution will feature stereoscopic graphics.”
Wow, thats their biggest offense right there! Thats probably a good 20+ rumors condenced into one. The list is cool in that it does remind you of how far we’ve come, but without all the nutty gritty details its not much fun. If you really want to check out a comprehensive (perhaps excessively) list of Wii rumors then head over to Zodog, they report on every little piece of information that even remotely smells of Wii (pun somewhat intended). Actually, check both sites, just so you can make your own judgment.

Ah, how we missed blogger rumors and uncanny stories, it good they’re back. We were getting bored. This time a French blogger reports he met a Nintendo excecutive at an airport bar, they got to talking, the exec got to drinking and the blogger got to taking note. In a drunken haze the executive revealed the launch date for the Wii to be this October, on the 30th to be precise. An American/European launch would follow a short week after.
Although we had previously heard many rumors about a November launch this is the closest to an exact date we’ve got. And it makes a lot of sense, its before the ps3 launch, and gives it enough time to gain momentum leading to the holidays.

It was bound to happen and quite frankly we were expecting them long ago! I guess the rumor mill was too focused on the Wii and the PS3. Anyway here it is.

Its actually a real good job, specially making the main character a female, I think its high time for some girl power on GTA. The spiked flail weapon is great too. If this is indeed fake Rockstar could learn a thing or two from it, but we don’t think the dog is such a good idea.
