Famed developer Molyneux seems to be getting himself into a flurry of interviews lately in the wake of all the Fable II hype, and he’s had some interesting things to say. In a recent interview with MTV Multiplayer, he said he’s developing a new IP born from “a single, pure thought and so simple that it’s actually far more terrifying…” Could we be seeing a survival horror game from the industry iconoclast?
Besides hinting at this latest game, Molyneux also added some insights on his past games, and what could have made them better. He says he used to focus too much on features before, not looking at what they would actually contribute to the whole game: “I think for a long time I mistook the number of features in a game for how good the game will be.” It’s good to hear the once-arrogant developer come down to earth.
