For the most part I loath anime music videos. More often than not its just random Naruto clips with a Linking Park song. But every once in a while comes a truly original, funny and interesting AMV and its worth it just for that. Today I bring you one of these rare gems. So its that time of the week again, time to forget about everything else, kick back and enjoy some good otaku tunes. That’s right, its time for Otaku Music Bit and this time its under nine thousand, literally since today we’re featuring Dragon Ball. No, that’s right, not Dragon Ball Z but the original series from the 80’s and 90’s. Its the classic opening to the series performed by none other than the guys from Animetal who we’ve featured before.  Sadly this isn’t a live version but hey, its just as good.

Japan to the Max via Japan Probe brings us this quite funny music video of Japanese snacks, Japanese snacks in METAL. Its a very cool concept, at the beginning he nails the Rammstein sound spot on but later in the video its just not very metal anymore. Still, it made me laugh, and at this hour of the morning, that’s good enough for me.
