Ladies, you know sometimes getting the attention of the special geek may be hard. Some days we love mashups, other days we hate them, and then there’s days like today. Days where there is no black or white, only different shades of blue, Konata blue.
What you see above is a mashup of Chrono Trigger’s Corridors of Time, one of the most iconic tracks of one of the most iconic game soundtracks ever, mixed with Lucky Star’s Konata. Konata’s Time Corridor is something I can neither love nor hate, only admire. This definitely took dedication to make, the kind of dedication only a Lucky Star fan could muster… since it takes the same kind of perseverance or sadism to watch Lucky Star.
In any case, there it is, Konata’s Time Corridor. Love it? Hate it? I sure hope your choice is clearer than mine!

As quick proof that in games the music can make a world of difference here’s a mashup of The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks with Ozzy Osbourne’s Crazy Train. This is a game I’d play, I bet it has you riding the train as fast as Zack Wylde’s guitar solos and the Ganondorf final battle would have you do a rock-off against him with link shreading on a triforce guitar. Yeah!

A clever, perhaps too clever, video game mash-up with many of Nintendo’s greatest 8 and 16-bit era icons in the Kung-Fu universe. Damn that game was awesome, watch out for the plot twist!
Poor Mega Man, he never was good with the ladies. What with blowing his load all over the place, buster load that is.

Check out this amazing anime mashup where the opening of Death Note is remade using footage form The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Its pretty good, not perfect but it shows you that with some clever editing you can make The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya seem like something I would actually care to watch. Yeah I don’t like Haruhi, so sue me! Enjoy!

For what I’m about to show you, blame Django, he brought this to my attention first.
What happens when you take mildly cool music video from a PS2 game with another mildly amusing video from a fan made video game? You get something that sounds so right it must have been meant to be mixed together by the gaming gods!
This is exactly what happens when you mix the PS2’s Shin Gouketuji Ichizoku – Bonnou Kaihou – Let’s go Onmyou-ji with a parody song from one of IOSYS Touhou shooters. Its better than peanut butter and jelly.
Go ahead, hear it again, you know you want to. Follow the break if you want to see what exactly makes up this video.
