Oricon Inc. (You know, that Japanese statistics page) surveyed 900 people in search for the most interesting anime movie of all time (and topics for such lists are getting almost ridiculous. . .). A lot of surprises there, FMA didn’t make it to the #1 spot, not even to the list! (American fans are gonna be sooo pissed), and we’ll see a lot of Studio Ghibli, taking up 60% of the places.
Number 1, Laputa: Castle in the sky. I think it’s a good one, not #1,but a very good option.
Number 10: Evangelion 1.0 You’re not alone. No comments there.
The list with pictures for each movie can be found here.

I know you. You’ve wondered to yourself more than one time “If this character existed I would be friends with him/her.”, I once did, and perished the thought before I returned to the Real World. Ranking Japan, a Japanese survey site asked that question to 300 persons in an age radius of 20~30 years. 1st place, the legendary Doraemon. . .
Here’s the list.
1: Doraemon (Doraemon)
2: Lupin (Lupin the 3rd)
3: Conan (Meitantei Conan)
4: Totoro (My Neighbor Totoro)
5: Son Goku (Dragon Ball)
6: Asakura Minami (Touch)
7: Sergeant Keroro (Keroro Gunsou)
8: Lum (Urusei Yatsura)
9: Ayanami Rei (Neon Genesis Evangelion)
10: Ryou-san (Kochira Katsushika-ku Kamearikouen-mae Hashutsujo).
Deceived? Satisfied? what character would YOU be friends with? I’m thinking Vash The Stampede.

TIME magazine made a “Top 10 videogames” list which should be checked, not because I agree with them, but because I wanna know if they really know what they’re talking about. It doesn’t say but I think it only includes 2006.

Next-Gen has come up with a pretty varied Top-10 list of ” Gaffes and Blunders of 2006 ” which, inside the electronic department, features our favorite companies, characters and events that happened and that are worthy to be displayed in the “Hall of Shame”.
Some of these are: The Wii-strap trouble, the Halo movie, and the infinite delay of merchandise.
You can check the list HERE.

The guys from WeeklyGeek have come up with an interesting videogame list: The most Artistic videogames, or rather, The top 5 games considered as Art. They range from the Superficial beautifulness like a Jan Van Eyck wood paint to the Abstract fascination like a Pablo Picasso painting.
One listed is Elektroplankton, which I own; and all I can say is that this game (even though limited and with some flaws [like no saving]) is a real journey to the unique and the beautiful.
You can check the list HERE.

Ever wondered how back in the 80’s we were all good videogamers and played for fun, looking at the main character’s actions and story, etc. etc? I do, and I can tell that over the years, with all these “polygons” and “reality” things going on, a lot, and I mean A LOT of gamers have been siding the boob side. Check the latest Doa Xtreme volleyball vid. and perish any doubt about it.
Now, in the good times, we couldn’t fantasize about game girls. . . because we couldn’t tell! Now a list is brought compiling the 23 hottest women of the 8bit era.
Some of them are: Ariel form The Little Mermaid, Jessica Rabbit form Roger Rabbit, and even Birdo. . .better check that list out HERE.
