Every other member of staff that got credited in this trailer worked on a Kingdom Hearts game. Not news to us, as Tetsuya ‘most of my characters all look the damn same’ Nomura revealed that the KH team was working on this game long before there was a trailer. Which means there’s a high likely hood that Versus XIII will play just like a Kingdom Hearts game; except with out big footed teenagers and Disney. Organization XIII could well make an appearance though. There were enough floating blades, long corridors and black cloaks shown in the trailer. Square have become the masters of unoriginality and re-hash, so expect to see some strong Kingdom Hearts elements in this game.
Versus XIII is looking great though. Because this trailer not only showed enough for us to spin our own webs as to what the story may center around and who the characters may be, but it causes intrigue. From this trailer I gathered that…
The main guy is rich.
The main guy and his friends are big fans of KAT-TUN and The Backstreet boys.
The girl squaring off against our blue haired hero is probably a good girl – possibly a princess who fights our hero due to a misunderstanding.
The guys all sat in the conference room are possibly some form of powerful counselors, who will end up double crossing one another and hatching plans for personal gain and power which will ultimately corrupt them.
The game centers around a crystal, because Square Enix said so.
The game will probably feature a secret trailer to Kingdom Hearts III.
There! It may all be bullshit, but it’s something. Versus XIII’s trailer showed us enough we can formulate some ideas, unlike XIII’s – which just showed sections of gameplay which annoyingly gave absolutely nothing away and frankly, caused me not to care or even get remotely excited.
Versus XIII was always the game I was more drawn to out of the Final Fantasy: Fabula nova crystallis dealio. I just hope it doesn’t end up playing like some slap-dash version of Kingdom Hearts set in a new universe. It’d be such a shame if it did. Unless of course it caused the game to seriously rock as a result. If the main hero can do all the shit he did in the trailer, in-game; it would be pretty nifty and cool. Although I doubt he’ll be able to. And even if he is, you’d probably have to level him up to do it all.
I’m just waiting for Square Enix to announce this for Xbox 360 and PC.

In lieu to British magazine Games(TM), and due to being stumped on a coming article, I give you a little dose of real-life equations which, unlike real equations on your last calculus paper, could be fun and related to what has been going on in the past years. Because if you can’t make fun of the videogame industry, who can you make fun of (apart from politicians and celebrities)?

I don’t think I should write much on this and just post the video, mostly because speculation when it comes to these cryptic trailers tends to be for naught. In the same fashion as Kingdom Hearts 1 had a secret ending preluding to the next game in it’s final mix ending… so now does Kingdom Hearts 2 have its own secret. View the trailer and let the fanboy speculation begin.

Continuing on Kingdom Hearts Fame, we look now on the newly released Kingdom Hearts Complete Soundtrack, and when I say complete, I MEAN complete. The entire soundtrack encompasses the entirety of the Kingdom Hearts universe, with 9 Cd’s of OST goodness. The Cd’s include every musical piece from Kingdom Hearts, the Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, the soundtrack to Kingdom Hearts 2, with about 4 extra songs, the newly re-done Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of memories, and also includes extra songs from the new Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix. All in all, a huge collection of music, although its a bit on the steep side, 15,000 yen, or about $128, definitely a must buy for any Kingdom Hearts fanatic.

Considering that Luminous has posted up some update on Kingdom Hearts, I found it appropriate to present to you children Hikaru’s Utada’s acoustic version of “Simple and Clean” – live!
Wonderful voice, cute, young, and Asian… And guess what, males? She just got divorced.

Hi VGCats people, thanks for visiting, be sure to check out our other stuff, you’re sure to find something you like!
Kingdom Hearts 2, the hit game from the collaborative minds of Disney and Square, and based off of the original from 2002, finally gets a face lift. The Final Mix is set to deliver both a remastered version of the Japanese release of the game, but with the secrets and additions given to the US release. While normally this may not be a cause for celebration, the game also comes with a complete remake of the Chain of Memories game, originally on the Game Boy Advance. Fan boys of the series rejoice, for a trailer is out, and Chain of Memories is lookin’ Mighty Fine.
