This isn’t a real news item per se, but I thought you guys would get a kick out of this. I’d heard of the Brazilian video game metal cover band MegaDriver before, and enjoyed their tunes, but never knew that they possessed such a stunning axe!
Destructoid adds, “This custom axe sports a 24-fret maple neck with EMG 81 active pickups, a Floyd Rose Lo-Pro bridge and a Brazilian body of ‘Angelim Pedra’ wood,” and I suppose that would mean something if you were a guitar player. I’d love to have a Tails bass myself…

Guitar Hero. Seriously, who hasn’t played it yet? If you missed the first one, you were bound to have touched the second one, unless you have made a cave far out north your permanent residence. Great songlist, great way of making young and old ones rock out with your rooster out, great controls thanks to the X-Plorer bundled with the 360 version, and the other wired controller with the PS2 one (don’t really recall the names of these guitars, unfortunately). This is a license that has cash cow written all over it.
Inevitably, part 3 makes its way to stores. The series is in the hands of Neversoft, famous for churning out Tony Hawk Skateboard sequels. This was all due to a nasty feud between them, Harmonix, EA, and Red Octane which I will not go into great detail, simply because this is a game review, not MTV’s Behind The Scenes. Besides, my puny brain cannot remember industry details unless I have Gamasutra.com and Gamebiz next to me. So how does Neversoft handle Harmonix’s baby this time around? Read more!

This goes specially for Nahu. These insane videos make every guitar player hide behind a big 300 Watt Amp for protection. Dream Theater’s guitarrist, John Petrucci shows away some of his real side. Time to start practicing!
I don’t play the guitar, but this is wicked cool; and I DO beleive that something happens when someone plays that fast.

This is what’s crackin’ on mah PC tonite! A guitar Hero simulator for PC called Frets on Fire. But, how am I going to play a guitar hero-type game if I don’t have a guitar? *Ping!* Using your Keyboard! you assign the “tabs” to keys and fret with the “Enter” or “Shift” key preferably.
