Woah! Look what the Photoshop Disasters blog found out. That girl on the cover of GTA4, who also appeared on the cover of more than one prominent magazine seems to have more quirks than just her suggestive way of licking a lollypop. She has 6 fingers.

It’s interesting, but what is more interesting is that at this very moment, someone in some gaming forum is turning this into some kind of secret hint that’s part of a massive secret campaign by Rockstar, probably relating to GTA6.

MTV’s website has an article about an interesting hands-on session with GTA IV and as the title of the piece says, GTA IV is less like a video game than ever before. A snip from the article:

Shooting a policeman, a criminal or a civilian will cause them to tumble with convincing physics. Shot people look hurt. Cars handle more realistically and more distinctly, depending on the type, making driving feel more true to life. The improved physics and animation make the game feel more real, the player’s actions more fraught with consequence. We stole a car, tried to evade police and fishtailed through an innocent crowd. Our car was damaged. The cops swarmed. And so while trying to drive up a hill, our vehicle simply stalled.

Oh boy they just keep making them murder simulators more realistic huh? But apparently the game can still get pretty slapstick-funny when you make the streets become your bowling alley with rag-doll physics.

You might have heard about a minor scandal called Hot Coffee last year,  or probably you didn’t since it was so low key, yeah right! Well the big sex-minigame scandal finally comes to an end as Rockstar Games reached a settlement on the class action lawsuit and as a result you, the concerned and psychologically scarred citizen, are entitled to up to $35.00 USD in compensation.

Great that will cover about 15 minutes with any psychiatrist! The lawyers, blessed be their charitable and philanthropic hearts, will only get one million dollars for their services. Can you smell that? No its not the smell of hot coffee, that’s the smell of justice, being burned down to the ground.

Of all the GTA mods this combination is one of the craziest ones I’ve seen so far, controlling the Lucky Star girls, shooting UZIs akimbo style, fighting armed Pikachu left and right and just when things start getting heavy in comes Doraemon riding on top of Metal Gear. The madness has just begun.

Oh yeah and some nice F-zero music at the end, to keep things interesting.

In what could be a big “could have seen it coming” moment, Take Two and Rockstar are delaying the release of the much anticipated fourth entry of the Grand Theft Auto franchise to next year on April, instead of the intended October 2007 release date. Chairman of Take Two Strauss Zelnick clarified in a statement that “Certain elements of development proved to be more time-intensive than expected, especially given the commitment for a simultaneous release on two very different platforms.”

Zelnick also added “the final say” to delay GTA IV was with him, but that “This wasn’t a decision we took lightly. This wasn’t a decision [Rockstar] took lightly.” Having reviewed a build just a day prior to the announcement, Take-Two felt that there was no way it could meet the game’s October 16th release date.

An understandable oversight, seeing that the GTA series have always been pushing the zenith of the console it was usually on. Still, this further reinforces the fact that all release dates for ALL videogames will never be final, and that delays will always be inevitable. Hit this sentence for the press release.

Quick newsflash, Rockstar just let us know of a new GTA IV trailer that will be released on the 28th of June. So far all that we know is the title — “Looking For That Special Someone”. Could our antihero be looking to tie the knot so early in the game? Or is he just looking to have some hot coffee? Keep checking back as we’ll keep you posted.

Its finally here, the trailer for Grand Theft Auto IV and the mystery behind it begins to clear. The game, rumored to take place in a London based city for a long time does not. So where are we going Hooker hunting come October? Well we’re going back to Liberty City! The  City made famous in GT3 so many years ago is back and looking better than ever. Whatever game engine this is, it definitely wont be running on the Wii.

Very few things are revealed during the trailer, its Liberty City but bigger, the main character seems to be a Russian criminal who, like all GTA anti-heroes before, comes to Liberty City to start fresh. Graphics aside, the level of detail in the city is amazing and there are finally crowds of people all over the place, you know, like a real city. As an odd detail though, there seems to be a hell of a lot more women than men in Liberty City, go ahead check for yourselves.

A better version of the trailer at Rockstar’s official site. We will slowly learn more details about the game as it nears its October 16 launch on both the PS3 and the Xbox 360. Now bring me some Vodka, we celebrate now, yes?

Well, our sources called it, Rockstar set up a splash page for GTA IV today. And even though it wasn’t hard to imagine, its good to know they can be trusted. The site has nothing but the image above and with it, and a running timer, the promise of a trailer in 28 days.

Really, there’s not much to take from these, trying to analyze the fonts and colors would be going too far. All we could infer from this is that maybe Grand Theft Auto IV will have a darker interface. When game publishers do this to us, 28 days becomes longer than the 3 years we’ve been waiting.

I have heard from a couple of sources I respect that there will be an announcement made by Rockstar regarding GTA IV in 5 days. This really should come as no surprise as Rockstar has announced several GTA games in early march, San Andreas included as it was announced on March 1 of 2004. As much of a tradition it is and as much as I trust this sources, I’ll file this in the rumor file.

Its also worth mentioning that it has long been expected that GTA IV will take place in London just like the expansion to the first GTA game, London 1969. As much as I would love a British GTA antihero, I think I’ve had it with the retro settings. And lastly, its also rumored, but my sources wouldn’t comment on it, that GTA IV will make its way into the Wii.
