Hello! I come from a time when wandering merchants lied, deceived, and even killed for their own profit. . .no wait, it’s not the present time, really! There’s wheat and… and… people and… Musicians, y’know? I know we have that now but… Hey! Does this time have neko-mimi? Kitsune-mimi?…Oh, right… Japan. Err… well… Ah, I got it! There are horses! I bet you don’t have horses anymore, right? What? you do?! Oh man, how to make you believe I come from the past? Hmm. . .sorry, you just have to believe me in this one, buddy, even though I’ll investigate more into it later. I think I’ll write a memo on my iPhone. . .

Honey & Clover is a currently airing drama in Japan, based on Chika Umino’s manga of the same name. It centers around a small circle of friends who all attend an Art university. Things start off pretty simple, but soon complicate themselves because of that age old thing called ‘love’.

I come from a place and time where, in my childhood, it was really hard to get anime; even before DVD’s and even before high-speed internet connections, we few anime-loving friends had to do almost impossible tasks, get to know THAT one guy who happened to go God-knows-where to get his anime, and we would follow, to his house, via that OTHER guy who was friends with him. Fantastic tales we soon made, just in order to keep the moe going. Moe. . .a very powerful word, which recently got a whole new meaning, mostly because of the girls of Love Hina.
Yep, Love Hina. That one anime most of you started with because of its male-seducing Harem style, sometimes funny comedy, and overall good animation, and let’s not forget Megumi Hayashibara on those infinite-looping songs.

Another anime watched, another reviewed, keeping in the internet database that I once had leisure time and used it in one of my favorite hobbies, watching perfectly shaped girls that look underage and meet most of my dreams! Ahh, I love Japan. Still, although that’s true for most, this isn’t the occasion for the anime I’m about to talk about. We have Maria-Sama ga Miteru ~Haru~, which means “spring”, implying the second semester of the drama and passionate relationships between the Rosas, the Rosas en buttons, and the Petit sours of Lilian’s High School for Ladies.

Microsoft, in a stunning, and glove removing (and face slapping, in a loony tunes kinda way) statement, said this:
“We don’t feel like the Wii customer and the Xbox customer are the same thing.
We think that as soon as the Wii customer turns 14 they want something else.”
Which, after their release of the Elite version of the Xbox maybe the excitement got into their heads, since, you know there seems to be no Wii’s ANYWHERE in stores.

This is one of the best done anime I’ve ever seen, with surprising textures, wonderful music, good voice acting, and a futuristic adaptation of an excellent novel, The Count of Montecristo. I dare say that i was tempted to learn French after watching this!
