There’s a new Haruhi game slated for release in Japan this year and no its not a dating sim, its not even really a visual novel, its the most a Haruhi game can really aspire to be, its a dancing game. This new Wii game will have you waving your arms around to Hare Hare Yukai and perhaps 10 other remixes of Hare Hare Yukai. If this sounds as exciting as attending a wedding reception its probably because its nearly the same thing. Only in a reception you dance 10 remixes of the chicken dance.
Hey, I hear if you beat the Haruhi game with perfect scores you get to dance to… Hare Hare Yukai!

The same famous prison that brought you the massive Thriller dance is apparently taking requests for new dance routines and someone saw fit to suggest Hare Hare Yukai, the Haruhi dance.
This is apparently just an early rehearsal and its not the whole troupe, still its pretty damn awesome. Here’s hoping they do Lucky Star next!

If you remember the madness that was the Lucky Star Opening we posted here some weeks ago then you are probably still suffering the after effects of watching it. Odds are you still play it every now and then to either keep you sane or at a healthy level of insanity.
If you dont remember it or had managed to get over it, I’m sorry for what I’m about to do to you.
Just like Hare Hare Yukai took over Japan as everyone and their grandma tried to do the silly dance now the craze has spread to Motteke! Serafuku — the Lucky Star OP. What follows is a compilation of some of the videos this madness has spawn, starting with this awesome interpretation of the whole opening by only one brave Otaku. Beware though, the end is…drafty, to say the least.
Hold on, we’re just getting started next up is a mashup with none other than Michael Jackson.
I know there’s something wrong about mixing Michael Jackson with a loli anime, but in this case its all for fun.

Having already played the wii and the WiiSports games, my mind is desiring for more and more wiimote / nunchuck gameplay as each day passes, and this time. . . I think I know exactly what I need:
This shows how much I miss Space channel 5 and Bust-A-Groove. . . Oh, those were the days.
Oh, Wario Smooth Moves, please give us the pleasure of trying you out. . .err. . .I don’t think that sounded right. . .
