If you are unfamiliar with Harrison Krix of Volpin Props you haven’t been paying attention to a master cosplayer. Seen here with his fiancee’ as little sister, Harrison and company sought to breathe more life in their costumes by commissioning a photoshoot the Georgia Aquarium with stunning results. I am in awe and amazement and the talent displayed. More pics after the jump.

Harrison Krix, a Graphic Designer from Atlanta, cosplayed as Big Daddy for Dragon*Con 2009. His costume was superb. That alone is enough reason for praise and fame but then Harrison went the extra mile and posted a complete log of the construction of the costume, all the way down to the fully functional drill in video.
It’s very rare to get a glimpse into the making of such a professionally made costume. Reminds me of the Pyramid Head cosplay video we showcased back in ‘07 (pulled from the internet now).
The Little Sister is not included in the how-to, that’s his fiancée, though no explanation on how he managed that!

Over the course of the weekend owners of Bioshock for the PS3 found a little something special, and decided to share it with the rest of us. That’s right, a teaser for Bioshock 2: Sea of Dreams was found at the end of Bioshock for the PS3. Picturing one of those lovely girl-creatures with a Big Daddy doll on a beach in the Atlantic sea. So get ready for more plasmids, more golden era charm and more dubious ethical choices.
