The time is finally here, the winner of the First Great Dark Diamond Delurking has been chosen! But I’m obviously not going to tell you so easily.

First of all, thanks to all who participated, wether it was for the tremendous cash price or simply for being a good sport. It was beyond awesome to hear from you, and even better yet than some of you did heed the call to comment more often. We love your comments, they keep us going and wanting to post more.

Originally I had planned to leave the Delurking open for a whole month but since it all went quiet several days ago I decided to close it early. Shame on you non-compliant lurkers! So here we go, using random.org’s random number generator I got a number for the winning comment. And the number was… 38! But that turned out to be Pootie Chan, who now is part of the staff so that’s a no go, sorry Pootie!

So I drew again and the winning number is….32! Our prize goes out all the way to the UK, to lucky commenter JaX! Very international! At least if JaX’s email address is correct.

So congratulations JaX, check your email soon so you can claim your $25 (£12.86), which you will most likely spend on fish and chips or whatever else is you brits buy.
