Ok kids we’re trying something new this time! If you’re in school you probably just went back to classes and between all that studying and partying staying indoors on the internet, if you work you’re probably stressed to hell. So we’re going to get a bit more social in here and watch a movie together, like friends. Now, don’t you worry about how or why or having the MPAA on our asses. Leave the magic to us.
For now just pick your favorite from the poll below and soon we’ll announce the winning title and more info about when and how. After this first one we’ll be counting on you for recommendations but for now… we’re sticking to a few classics.
It’s obvious we’ll start small but we’re hoping to make a tradition out of this one, so make history and make sure you attend the first one! Are you excited? We’re excited!

Come on, Come on….this is gonna be awesome!
Akira totally failed as a decent movie. Haven’t seen Perfect Blue, but have heard enough to avoid it like the plague. The first Battle Royal was awesome, but the book was better. And Ghost in the Shell is just pure awesomeness.
Rei, you’re missing a lot if you’re not watching Perfect Blue, believe me.
Oh my god, Perfect was awful. I couldn’t stand the animation.
Akira failed?! It pioneered animation in it’s form today. Still want to see Perfect Blue though.
see it.. greatest mind fuck ever… i have it and see it every now and then…
and akira is pure awesomeness… people tend to hate it because sometimes its usually their first contact with anime and its a bit intense xD
but yes… like Sol mentioned.. it one of anime’s cornerstones.
I want A True Mindfuck i havent had one in at least a month:)
then both akira and perfect blue deliver sir o.-
i already saw akira it was good^^
Ooo, always wanted to watch Perfect Blue.
Woh, this is gonna be pretty cool :3
Good thing my school doesn’t start till September.
Mine starts 9/9/09 (>.>). How about you?
9/9/09/?
There’s a big budget movie released exactly that day, I don’t remember which, though.
Its called 9. We saw the booth at comic-con.
Yep same day, then off to see the Movie 9!
this is Burton’s new movie right?
i’ve been looking forward to that movie since i first heard of it
Dunno how this is going to work, but I’ll vote anyway x3
We’ve been dreaming up some webcasting ideas. And we can all chat as we are all watching the movie, together. Think of going to the movies with friends, except online. and no movie popcorn :(
I’ll have some popcorn.
I’ll have some Coke and chips.
Who is bringing BonBons or the movie pickle?
movie pickle?
Sol is a very disturbed man, he eats pickles while watching movies.
Are they at least fried? Whoo-hoo for Southern delicacies :3
maybe sol’s movie pickles taste like steak xD
we have chat? :D
this is gonna be awesome xD.. even though i already own perfect blue xD
Looking forward to it, i don’t care which movie is picked.
nice new idea. Never seem Akira or Perfect Blue. I believe my school starts 9/8
Perfect Blue was not as hard on the brain as i expected, though, watching it in company sure makes a different experience altogether (that goes to practically any film, be it a B-movie or a cinema masterpiece)
Akira is fine enough, though i have only seen it once, and it was really well done for its time. For Battle Royale i found it hard to

Akira is fine enough, though i have only seen it once, and it was really well done for its time. For Battle Royale i found it hard to follow for long because of its long tediousness.
Battle Royale… tedious? Are we talking about the same Battle Royale? The one where everyone is backstabbing someone else every 2 minutes and action is always just around the corner from tension street?
I find Perfect Blue hard to swallow and Akira amazing. Dam it’s already been a week of school past already. I really wanted to see Battle Royale after seeing some gruesome scenes on Japanorama
