There’s a new menace at hand, the gothic-styled, something-huge-wielding Asura, trying to take over this realm, to do whatever he pleases with it; maybe having a big bad-ass castle, where he can sit on a huge chair, controlling his minions for evil and despair, or making it obligatory for all females to wear cat ears and tail, and ending every sentence they say in -nya, -nye-, nyo-, or -nyu. I’m just taking a wild guess here, since evil can never get TOO evil.

Well, along with the story, we watch Haohmaru living with Nakoruru and Rimururu, doing his training near a waterfall. Rimururu is taking care of the choirs and Nakoruru is away, surveiling the area for threats. Nakoruru rescues a faded out Shiki, and takes her to her aid, while Galford appears to Haohmaru and explains to him that he’s the only one strong enough to beat that Asura guy.

Asura intercepts Nakoruru, who sacrifices her safety by slowing his approach, letting Shiki escape. Haohmaru saves Nakoruru and starts to fight Asura, leaving Nakoruru, Galford, and an unconscious Shiki that has something in mind. . .
