If there was an Anime I had to pick which: gets everyone all worked up over schoolgirls, has a quite good amount of fan service, cute character designs, and no real plot whatsoever, I would pick Azumanga Daioh! . . . But this series has its own category of FAN SERVICE. It’s called Pani Poni Dash! and takes plots to another level of understanding (or maybe not. . .).
Made by Studio GANSIS and Studio SHAFT in 2005, this series really really PLEASES the high-rank otaku community, with phrases, parodies, plots, and A DAMN LOT OF EASTER EGGS!
CATEGORY: It’s School Life, Comedy, wtf, and if I could. . . Excessive fan service.
STORY
There is a new Teacher in school, and she is . . .a Girl Genious! Only 11 years old and named Rebecca Miyamoto, she graduated from MIT and is giving classes to High Schoolers. . . Then it’s everyday life in the adventures of the school staff and this curious teacher.

GRAPHICS
The character designs are ROUND, SHINY and overall pretty, it uses a very contemporary style of animation, which will please most picky eye- candy-ers. Since it’s a comedy anime, expect the characters to go Chibi a lot fo times, change outfits, voices, etc.

SOUND & MUSIC
The opening song is pretty vivid, (sounds 60’s); the 2nd OP song is far better (more mambo and stuff) and the ED’s are pretty cool too. The BGM does a good job and is worthy of getting the OST if you like VARIETY and nonsense lyrics.
OVERALL
Watch this if you CRAVE for some comedy in anime and you don’t have enything better to watch, unless you’re a HARDCORE otaku and know every Gundam name, every Battlestar Galactica character and catchy phrases they might have told in any episode, because these. . . SPAM the series (written on teh chalkboard on the BG, they change with every change of angle!). Even without knowing all these things, you’ll quite enjoy the zannyness of this series if you like parodies.
